Summer nail stamping challenge - week 2.

Dziś chciałabym wam pokazać owocowe zdobienie wykonane na drugi tydzień projektu.

Użyłam mojej nowej płytki, która wręcz idealnie wpasowała się w temat! Wybrałam ananasy - odbiłam je białym na czarnym tle. Następnie zrobiłam sobie na kartce sheer tinty, mieszając bezbarwny lakier z odrobiną zwykłych. Na końcu pomalowałam nimi stemple.

Today I'd like to show you a fruity manicure for the second week of the challenge.
I used my new stamping plate, which is just perfect for this theme! I chose pineapples and stamped them in white on a black background. Then I created sheer tints, mixing my transparent polish with the normal ones on a sheet of paper. And finally, I painted the stamps with them.

31DC2014: Day 18 - half moons

Dziś robimy half moon manicure. Nie wiedziałam co chcę namalować – jedynie, że to coś ma być żółte (bo jakoś tak wyszło, że od trzeciego dnia Wyzwania prawie nie używałam tego koloru). Pokryłam żółty lakier holograficznym brokatem i namalowałam limonkowe półkola.

I wtedy do mnie dotarło – przecież to ananasy! Dodałam więc kilka brązowawych kresek i zielone listki, aby wyglądały bardziej jak "prawdziwe" owoce ;)

Co o nich myślicie?

Today we’re doing half moon manicure. I had no idea what I wanted to paint, all I knew was that it had to be yellow (because I haven’t quite used that colour since the third day of the Challenge).

I top coated it with a holographic polish and painted the lime green half moons.

And then it struck me – they were pineapples! So I’ve added some brownish lines and green leaves to make them look more like the ‘real’ fruits ;)
